Overview

WHAT IS THUNDERSTRUCK?

Thunderstruck is a simple yet powerful LiveOps platform that receives your event data and classifies players based on their behaviour.

Simply, integrate your game with our SDK, and send us your event data. We will then classify user IDs with their relevant behavioural archetype. We send the tagged IDs back to you for your own analysis, or simply use our platform.

With these insights you can plan changes to your game based on the mechanics and play styles that your users care about. And once your changes have been implemented, you can track user behaviour to see if your changes encouraged the behaviours you wanted.

PLAYER CLASSIFICATIONS

Each of our player archetypes has distinct characteristics, allowing you to see what players really care about, based on how they actually play your game.

Based on player traits, our initial go-live includes the following classifications:

Achiever

These players are competitive and enjoy overcoming difficult objectives whether set by the game or themselves, in order to obtain prestige, prizes, and other types of material possessions.

Socializer

Players that experience fun in interacting with other players through social systems like using chat, managing guilds, or role-playing rather than playing the game itself. They tend to collaborate or join forces with others to achieve objectives than they could on their own.

Explorer

Those that like to learn as much about the game as possible, Explorers seek to understand the finer details of game mechanics. The thrill of discovery and uncovering hidden areas or objectives motivate these players over points or prizes.

Killer

These players enjoy killing, creating chaos, and competitive elements most of all. They focus on winning, climbing player rankings, obtaining status, provoking, and imposing drama onto others.
